In response to recent acts of violence against church congregations across the nation, the Deacons approved the utilization of two Deacons each week to serve in the role of Deacon of the Week. These individuals will be responsible for security procedures around our campus each Sunday and Wednesday, as well as, being available for any ministry needs within our church family. Please contact these men should a ministry need arise within your family.
The youth girls have an exciting opportunity approaching. The complete girl’s conference will be March 1-2 in Montgomery, The cost is $50 and reservations must be made by Wednesday February 14th. This includes registration, hotel room, and food.
The Associational WMU is sponsoring a food drive in February. The RBA food bank gives out food on Tuesdays only. Homeless or hungry people come by other times and we need easy accessable foods and pull tab cans to fill that need. We need these items: Nutra Grain or granola bars, Pop Tarts, Juice pouches/boxes, fruit cups, pudding cups, small jar peanut butter, saltines, Ritz or graham crackers, Vienna sausage, tuba fish pouches, small cereal boxes, ravioli, etc. Place donated…

There will be a meetings for the teachers of Adult Sunday School classes on February 25th during the Sunday School hour in the sanctuary. Please find a co-teacher to cover your class.
Our “FBC Loves Wedowee” project will b e held on February 214th beginning at 9:00 am. We will bake and deliver cookies to our community businesses as an outreach event. If you would like to help, please meet in the fellowship hall at 8:30 Wednesday morning.
We will be planning a mission trip to Montana on March 1-6 to help the Expedition Church with work projects and service projects. We only need a team with a maximum of 8 people. Each person will pay for their travel to and from Montana and their meals. Please contact Pastor David if you are interested,
Our Church has once again partnered with the Randolph Baptist Association to provide Vacation Bible School Training for the Churches in our association as well as our own church. The state training event will be Monday February 19th from 8:30 am to noon in Montgomery. At this training you will preview this year’s VBS theme, Game On! , as well as learn how to traim teachers to use the teaching kit. At a later date, our team of trained teachers…
